The first & only Froebel-based early learning center in British Columbia.
Symmetry Early Learning Center is a preschool setting in Abbotsford — a fun, uniquely designed program that stimulates social, emotional, physical, and mental growth through the philosophies of Friedrich Froebel.
The symmetry of nature meets the growth of a child's mind.
The Gift of Play
Friedrich Froebel created the concept of the kindergarten and coined the word. He developed educational toys known as Froebel gifts — Gabe means gifts in German.
Freedom & Independence
Children are given freedom of expression within a structured environment, growing independence and positive self-esteem at their own pace.
Symmetry of Growth
We stimulate social, emotional, physical, and mental growth in balance — the innate symmetry of nature meeting the structured growth of a child's mind.
A Community of Families
An innovative experience and community for parents and children alike — a sanctuary where every family belongs.
The values that shape our sanctuary.
The Froebel Way
We are the first and only childcare center in BC built on the Froebel philosophy — the very idea that invented kindergarten.
Play as Purpose
Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood — the free expression of what is in a child's soul.
Balanced Growth
Social, emotional, physical, and mental growth, stimulated together through structured gifts and child-led discovery.
A Serene Space
Smaller class sizes, ordered environments, and natural materials — a sanctuary where young minds feel safe to explore.
A sanctuary for every early learner.
We take daily precautions to protect the health of our students and their families — smaller class sizes, enhanced cleaning, and an ordered environment built from natural materials.
